KINETO Lab provides tumor and organ samples in snap frozen form, or/and which can be routinely processed according to the formalin fixed paraffin-embedding (FFPE) protocol. Additionally, we can offer sample processing using various methods according to your needs.

Before samples can be analyzed using immunohistochemistry and various staining, basic biological sample management service including:

Photography and imaging

Accurate recording of the experiment in photo and video form provides important data important for further analyses improving the impact of the research

Examination of macrometastases on organs

The antimetastatic effect of a treatment can be evaluated by counting the number of metastases in distal organs

Weight measurement of tumor and organs

Measuring tumor weight can give more realistic data of tumor growth due to inaccurate tumor volume measurements, while organ weighing provides information about possible toxicity or organ lesion caused by the treatment

Examination of metastases in close proximity to the primary tumor

In some in vivo tumor models, the metastasis formation in distal organs is reduced, and therefore the antimetastatic effect of the compound can be evaluated based on the number of metastases close to the primary tumor, just as it occurs in clinical practice
