KINETO Lab Ltd. has technology to produce anti-human CD34 monoclonal antibody, by immunizing BALB/c mice with purified recombinant extracellular domain of human CD34 protein, which binds for different types of stem cells and progenitor cells, as well as vascular endothelial cells and embryonic fibroblasts.
CD34 is a transmembrane glycoprotein present on different types of stem cells and progenitor cells. It is also expressed in vascular endothelial cells and embryonic fibroblasts. It is a well-known marker of hematopoietic stem cells. Its possible function is involving the regulation of cell adhesion, proliferation, and differentiation. It is usually used as a marker of multipotent hematopoietic cells, as differentiated hematopoietic cells do not express CD34. It can also be used in identifying different classes of stem cells, as well as in studies examining the phenotypes present in hematologic malignancies or differentiation difficulties. Endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs) can be selected too via CD34 labeling.
Clone E2E6-1 mouse IgG1 antibody reacts with the human form of the transmembrane glycoprotein, CD34, expressed on stem/progenitor hematopoietic cells, endothelial cells.
Flow cytometry, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry (either frozen or paraffin-embedded tissue samples).
